At Rentec Direct, we recognize that privacy is important. Rentec Direct takes significant measures to safeguard any data provided to us via online forms, applications, or any other means of communication of data.

Information we may collect and how we use it

The primary role of Rentec Direct is to consolidate and organize information. As such, it will be necessary for users of Rentec Direct products to provide information on a regular basis. The following classifications of information are applied when using Rentec Direct.

• Information you provide
  When you sign up for a Rentec Direct account we ask for information related to your business, and running your business. Once signed up Rentec Direct will ask for your tenant and owner information in order to populate, maintain, and use the system. Payment information, if provided, is stored securely and used only for products purchased from Rentec Direct.
• Cookies & Local Storage
  Rentec Direct may make use of cookies and/or local storage which will be stored within your web browser. This data is often required in order to maintain your session and keep you logged in. All cookies are set to expire within a reasonable time period and would then automatically expire from your computer if you stopped utilizing Rentec Direct.
• Log information
  When you access Rentec Direct servers, the server will automatically log information related to your connection which may include your IP address, browser type, and other non personally identifiable information.
• Communications
  When you communicate with Rentec Direct staff via email or other means, in order to facilitate support and communication may be stored indefinitely.
• Analytics
  Like most websites on the internet, Rentec Direct uses Analytics and Advertising Features from Google, Microsoft, and other website partners to provide us reports on web traffic, usage trends, demographics, and advertising preferences. Rentec Direct and/or our website partners may store cookies, pixels, and session data related to your visit to our website(s) and use that information while you are browsing the web. This information may then be used for the purposes of aggregated analytics related to the performance of advertising and analytics campaigns. Information Sharing

Rentec Direct does not share any information provided by you to any third parties, except in the following circumstances.

• Information you ask us to share
  Some features of Rentec Direct include syndicating information you provide to third party sites. For example, you can optionally provide your vacant property information to Rentec, and we will share that information with other rental listing sites to get you rental leads. This is a feature you can turn on or off.
• Service providers
  In order to provide services which are procured from a third party, Rentec Direct will send information to a vendor as necessary to complete the request. Rentec Direct will only send the data necessary to complete the request and no more. Examples of Rentec Direct services that use a third party service include, but are not limited to: tenant screening reports, merchant processing, data security, tenant data lookups, and electronic signatures.
• For data and account security
  We may send information about your connection (ip address), location, or browser to a third party security validation service to help ensure your connection is secure.
• As required by law
  We have a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request, b) enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations thereof, c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues, or d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Rentec Direct, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

Aggregated Anonymous Data

From time to time we may aggregate usage data from Rentec Direct subscribers or tenants to create informational or educational content that may be published on our blog or a third party location. An example of this would be if we published an article on our blog indicating overall average percentages of vacancies in a particular region. Any publication or use of this anonymous data will never identify the source of the data or any specifics about where the data originated and would always include a wide segment of data.

European Union GDPR

Our products not sold or marketed to residents or businesses located in the European Union ("EU"). If you are an EU resident who believes one of our customers has entered your data into our system you may request that your data be removed from our system by sending an email with proof of EU residency to success@rentecdirect.com.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Please note that this privacy policy may change from time to time. We would expect most changes to be minor and not influence the handling of the data and privacy that we provide; however, should a significant material change be made to the content of this policy, Rentec Direct will use commercially reasonable means to notify you of the change(s). A revision and date will be maintained at the bottom of this document to help facilitate our customer's in knowing if the policy has changed.
