Puresect ("we," "us," or "our") is a resident-first platform designed for urban communities to help residents, committee members, and owners stay informed and build trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Puresect mobile application and website (puresect.com).

To provide a transparent era of community management, we collect the following:
Personal Information: We collect your name, email address, and phone number to identify you on our platform and facilitate communication. Please note that this information is stored with encryption and is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Location & Property Information: We may collect your society name, building wing, flat/unit number, and other relevant property details to create an accurate structural representation of your society, enabling the committee to effectively govern and manage residents, billing, and maintenance operations.
Community Participation: Your votes in polls, forum posts, and feedback shared within the society.
Sensitive Information: If you use our payment features, we may collect your bank account number and IFSC code for payment routing through secure payment gateways to facilitate society maintenance and rent payments. Please note that all sensitive financial information is encrypted and stored using industry-standard encryption protocols — your payment data is never stored in plain text and is only accessible through secure, authenticated channels.
Device Information: IP address, device ID, and app usage analytics to optimize AI-driven decisions.
3. How We Use Your Data
Core Functionality: To manage society accounts, generate maintenance bills, and facilitate voting.

Society Committees: To allow for official governance and financial oversight.

5. Data Security & Retention
Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using industry-standard protocols.
Retention: We retain data for as long as your account is active or as required for statutory society auditing.
6. Account Deletion & Data Retention
Puresect provides users with full control over their data. In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety mandates, you can request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data through two primary methods:
In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Delete Account. You'll be redirected to the web to re-authenticate, after which you can proceed with your account deletion request.
Web-Based Request: If you cannot access the app, you may visit our dedicated Data Deletion Portal to submit a request.
Data Retention Note: Upon a valid deletion request, ZLTS will purge your personal identity data from our active databases within 30 days. Please note that certain financial transaction logs or society records may be retained for a limited period where required by local law or for legitimate audit purposes.
